Evidence of Wildlife at 100 Oakland Road Site

All Photos Were Taken by Abutters to the proposed 100 Oakland Development Site

 Abutters have observed many species of animals and birds exiting the forest on a regular basis.  In addition to the photos below, over 22 different species of bird sounds have been recorded coming from the site and identified with the Merlin Bird ID mobile application, including: 


  • Northern Flicker
  • Carolina Wren
  • Northern House Wren
  • Gray Catbird
  • Blue Jay
  • Wood Thrush
  • Eastern Wood-Pewee
  • Common Grackle
  • Northern Cardinal
  • Red-tailed Hawk
  • White-breasted Nuthatch
  • Tufted Titmouse
  • American Robin
  • American Goldfinch
  • Black-capped Chickadee
  • Great Crested Flycatcher
  • Downy Woodpecker
  • American Redstart
  • Mourning Dove
  • American Crow
  • Red-bellied Woodpecker


It appears the current forest is thriving and serves as an active wildlife corridor.
